We are pleased to announce the release of a new birding resource for the fine state of Colorado, the County Birding Website. The website features detailed information for 880 places to go birding in Colorado. Checklists for birds are available for the entire state and on a county by county basis. There is information on the best places to look for specialties and general information about birding in Colorado.
CFO would like to thank all contributing authors, especially Nathan Pieplow and Andrew Spencer who in addition to authoring counties also compiled and edited the website.
CFO is also excited to announce the upcoming Colorado Birding Trail, a resource being developed by Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado Audubon, Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, and Colorado Field Ornithologists. The Colorado Birding Trail will be developed on top of the County Birding Website database. For more information visit: ColoradoBirdingTrail.com
